Born in Hong Kong to a Chinese father and Austrian mother, Claudia Shaw-d’Auriol
    has always had a penchant for the culinary arts, travel and fashion. After
    graduating from Bryn Mawr College, she returned to Hong Kong where she
    joined the work force. She held various positions in luxury goods companies,
    before retiring to become a full-time mother! Claudia was lured out of her
    short-lived retirement by Chanel, where she has been for almost 10 years.
    
    Few know of her culinary flair, but both her and her good friend
    Dominica’s love of food and cooking, led them to take on the challenge of
    putting together their first cookbook. Claudia’s passion is spendingtime
    with her family whether it be on the boat, skiing, hiking or chilling at
    home. She can also often be found in the kitchen cooking. Claudia lives in
    Hong Kong with her husband, Guy d’Auriol and their three children.
